A strong lighting presentation does not start with visuals, it starts with a clear design purpose.

For Lawnda, the process began by understanding the project’s context, architectural language, and relationship between the natural world and the built environment.

That reading shaped the lighting strategy: where light should guide, where it should stay subtle, and how each effect should support the user experience.

In lighting design, visuals are not the concept, they are the result of a concept that has already been defined.

لا يبدأ عرض تصميم الإضاءة القوي بالصور, بل يبدأ بهدف تصميمي واضح.

في مشروع Lawnda، بدأت العملية من فهم سياق المشروع، ولغته المعمارية، والعلاقة بين العالم الطبيعي والبيئة المبنية.

ومن هذا الفهم، تشكّلت استراتيجية الإضاءة: أين يجب أن يوجّه الضوء، وأين يجب أن يبقى أكثر هدوءًا، وكيف يدعم كل تأثير تجربة المستخدم.

في تصميم الإضاءة، ليست الصور هي الفكرة, بل هي نتيجة لفكرة تم تحديدها بوضوح.

You don’t always need to light the whole façade.

For Al Dabab Complex in Riyadh, the lighting concept started with the architecture itself: a repeated grid of modular openings, designed with privacy in mind, and one recessed cutout that breaks the rhythm.

Instead of lighting everything, the concept focused on the detail that gives the façade its character.

The cutout became the lighting focus, while the rest of the grid remained quiet but readable.

Light follows the architecture. It doesn’t cover it.

لا تحتاج الواجهة دائمًا إلى إضاءتها بالكامل.

في مشروع Al Dabab Complex في الرياض، بدأ مفهوم الإضاءة من العمارة نفسها: شبكة متكررة من الفتحات المعمارية، صُممت مع مراعاة الخصوصية، وتفصيل غائر واحد يكسر هذا الإيقاع.

بدل إضاءة الواجهة بالكامل، ركّز مفهوم الإضاءة على التفصيل الذي يمنح الواجهة طابعها الخاص.
أصبح هذا الجزء الغائر نقطة التركيز في الإضاءة، بينما بقيت الشبكة المعمارية هادئة وواضحة.

الإضاءة تتبع العمارة. ولا تغطيها.

زيارات ميدانية، تفاصيل، مراجعات، وقرارات هادئة كثيرة تشكّل إحساس المساحة بعد حلول الظلام. 💡

For Chocomize Riyadh, the ceiling was one of the main design challenges.

Instead of interrupting it with traditional downlights, the lighting was approached differently: concealed linear fixtures were directed toward the ceiling, allowing reflected light to softly illuminate the space.

The displays were then treated separately, with integrated lighting that brings focus to the products while keeping the seating areas warm and intimate.

A clean ceiling, a clear hierarchy, and light placed exactly where it needs to be. 💡

في Chocomize الرياض، كان السقف أحد أبرز تحديات التصميم.

بدل التأثير على شكله باستخدام وحدات الإضاءة التقليدية، تم التعامل مع الإضاءة بطريقة مختلفة: وحدات خطية مخفية وُجّهت نحو السقف، ليصبح الضوء المنعكس هو الإضاءة العامة للمساحة.

أما العروض والمنتجات، فتم التعامل معها بطبقة إضاءة منفصلة ومدمجة، تبرز المنتجات بوضوح مع الحفاظ على أجواء دافئة وحميمية في مناطق الجلوس.

سقف نظيف، تسلسل بصري واضح، وإضاءة موضوعة حيث يجب أن تكون تمامًا. 💡

A normal site visit, basically: rolled plans, a light meter, a pencil… and a hundred details to check before the light feels right. 💡

زيارة موقع عادية، باختصار: مخططات ملفوفة، ومقياس ضوء، وقلم… ومئة تفصيل يجب التأكد منه قبل أن تبدو الإضاءة كما يجب. 💡
