🌸 Mukkutti

The flower in the image is a Mukkutti, also known by its scientific name, Biophytum sensitivum.

It is a small, annual flowering herb belonging to the family Oxalidaceae.

The plant is found in tropical and subtropical regions across the world, including Africa and Asia.

In traditional medicine, it is used for various ailments such as inflammation, arthritis, and wounds.

Biophytum sensitivum is also one of the ten sacred flowers of Kerala, India, known as "Dasapushpam".

රූපයේ ඇති මල මුක්කුට්ටි වර්ගයක් වන අතර එය එහි විද්‍යාත්මක නාමය වන බයෝෆයිටම් සෙන්සිටිවම් ලෙසද හැඳින්වේ.

එය ඔක්සලිඩේසී පවුලට අයත් කුඩා, වාර්ෂික මල් පිපෙන ඔසුවකි.

මෙම ශාකය අප්‍රිකාව සහ ආසියාව ඇතුළු ලොව පුරා නිවර්තන සහ උපනිවර්තන කලාපවල දක්නට ලැබේ.

සාම්ප්‍රදායික වෛද්‍ය විද්‍යාවේදී, එය දැවිල්ල, ආතරයිටිස් සහ තුවාල වැනි විවිධ රෝග සඳහා භාවිතා කරයි.

බයෝෆයිටම් සෙන්සිටිවම් යනු ඉන්දියාවේ කේරළයේ "දසපුෂ්පම්" ලෙස හඳුන්වන පූජනීය මල් දහයෙන් එකකි.
