Burning thread ends with a ThreadZap II, because why not
When you need a bit more accuracy than with a lighter, this kind of tool can really helps.

I use it most of the time when I'm to afraid of burning the leather around (small loop of leather for instance) or when I want a more discrete finish.

I know some folks here use glue to finish a stitch line.

One of the most satisfying leathergood you can make is a belt.

Why? Because you don't need a lot of tools, and you can get a great result real fast!

Clean brass with toothpaste. How to do it. Clean you tools, Sinabrok.
Sometimes, I feel like I miss the time when these tools were all shiny and new.
Well, I found a technique that I share with you.

- Toothpaste
- Rub it rub it
- Clean with water
- Dry it
- Enjoy or repeat if it's not enough

Beautiful leathercraft business cards. ASMR unboxing.
When I started this activity, I told myself I would do like the pro, get a small catalog, a website, an Instagram and YouTube account, and even make myself some business cards.

But I'm just a hobbyist, and I did all that, and more, just for fun.
Yeah now I'm all grown up since I also have a Tiktok account :D :D

It reminds me this time, when I registered into a french online forum to talk about leathercraft with peers. I've been kicked out after 3 posts because they judge me too professional to be there. (like it might hide something…)
I just wanted to share trips and tricks as a 1 year old craft, but anyways. Their loss I suppose. Bye ^^'

Applying bees wax on a leather good before sending it to the client. Leathercraft
I'm always applying a small amount of bees wax & cononut oil mix to my leathergoods before packing them. It adds a small amount of moisture to the leather, protect it, and smells really good.

To me, it's part of the unboxing experience the recipient will have.
