Ja man pirms 10 gadiem kāds pateiktu, ka es būšu interjera dizainers, visticamāk, jūs redzētu tieši tādu smaidu kā šajā bildē.
Ne tāpēc, ka tas izklausītos neiespējami, bet tāpēc, ka mans ceļš uz dizainu nebija klasiskais stāsts par “es jau bērnībā zināju”. Nebija viena dramatiska brīža, kad pēkšņi viss kļuva skaidrs.
Mana atnākšana uz dizainu drīzāk bija loģisks turpinājums iepriekšējai uzņēmējdarbībai, pieredzei, cilvēkiem, telpām un situācijām, kurās arvien biežāk vajadzēja domāt ne tikai par to, kā kaut kas izskatās, bet arī — kā tas strādā.
Par to, kas bija pirms dizaina un kā tas mani līdz tam noveda, nākamajā postā.
If someone had told me 10 years ago that I would become an interior designer, you would probably see exactly the same smile as in this photo.
Not because it sounded impossible, but because my path to design was not the classic story of “I knew it since childhood.” There was no single dramatic moment when everything suddenly became clear.
My journey into design was more of a logical continuation of my previous business activities, experiences, people, spaces, and situations, where I increasingly had to think not only about how something looks, but also about how it works.
