Preparation
Preheat oven to 200°C.
Place chickpeas, oil, salt, paprika, garam masala, cumin, chilli flakes and pepper in mixing bowl then mix 20 sec//speed 2. Transfer to 'Ben' baking tray and arrange in a single layer. Roast for 40-45 minutes (200°C) until golden and crisp, stirring every 10 minutes with spatula to brown evenly. Drain chickpeas on a paper towel, season to taste and serve warm or cold.
Tips
Quick and easy to prepare, these spiced nibbles are perfect for serving with drinks when entertaining, or as a healthier snack option. Roasting on ‘Rockstar Ben’ ensures a crunchy treat that would also work well tossed through salads or sprinkled on top of a hearty bowl of soup.
Dry chickpeas well to make them really crispy.
Grease the Rockstars when using them for the first time (see instructions for use). Over time, a natural non-stick layer will form, ensuring the food does not stick and can easily be removed from the stoneware.
