Transforming dreams into reality ✨

For our latest issue, Design & Décor met with senior interior and lighting designer Maria Mercieca—owner of M+ Design Studio!

A founding member and vice president at MIDA, Maria recounted how she recently redesigned her aunt’s vintage bedroom using a strategic lighting concept to transform it into a sophisticated space that was both welcoming and functional.

The challenging but inspirational project resulted in a charming sanctuary enhanced by a diverse selection of materials, an artful interweaving of lighting systems—which were provided by Light Design Solutions—and a harmonious interplay between natural light and mesmerising shadows.
