WHERE YOUR TREASURE IS

“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
Matthew 6:21

God tells us that where our treasure is, there our heart will be also. He teaches us that we should not store up treasures on earth, because they can be destroyed or stolen. In contrast, when we store up treasures in heaven, they are protected.

With this in mind, let us reflect: Are we accumulating earthly treasures, or are we making transfers to heaven? Where are we investing our time, money, and effort?

Heavenly Father, thank you for reminding us that our treasure is in you and that we must do and fulfill your will, so that the resources you give us may be invested in the bank of heaven, where no one can steal them and they cannot deteriorate. Help us use our time, money, and daily efforts in the right direction. In the name of your beloved Son, Jesus Christ, amen.

DONDE ESTÁ TU TESORO

«Porque donde esté tu tesoro, allí estará también tu corazón».
Mateo 6:21

Dios nos dice que donde está nuestro tesoro, ahí está también nuestro corazón. Nos enseña que no debemos acumular tesoros en la tierra, porque pueden ser destruidos o robados; en cambio, cuando acumulamos tesoros en el cielo, estos se encuentran protegidos.

Con esto en mente, reflexionemos: ¿estamos acumulando tesoros terrenales o haciendo transferencias al cielo? ¿Dónde estamos invirtiendo nuestro tiempo, dinero y esfuerzo?

Padre celestial, gracias por recordarnos que nuestro tesoro está en ti y que debemos hacer y cumplir tu voluntad, para que las inversiones de los recursos que tú nos das lleguen al banco del cielo, donde nadie nos las puede robar ni se pueden deteriorar. Ayúdanos a dar la dirección correcta al tiempo, al dinero y al esfuerzo de cada día. En el nombre de tu Hijo amado Jesucristo, amén.

Praise God

Good morning!

Praising God through everything we do is part of what God wants from us, and He is specific about when we should do it.

God wants us to praise Him from now and forevermore, from the rising of the sun to its setting. So, whatever we do, let us do it in worship and praise of our Heavenly Father.

Father, thank You because we know that Your love, mercy, grace, provision, and everything You have for us are reasons to praise and worship You. We thank You because Your mercy and grace are renewed every day. Thank You for Your infinite love and patience. Help us always to be conscious that we should give You thanks and praise You, because there is no one like You who has such great love for us.

In the name of Your beloved Son Jesus Christ, amen.

Alabar a Dios

¡Buen día!

Alabar a Dios con todos nuestros actos es parte de lo que Dios quiere de nosotros, y Él es específico respecto al momento en que debemos hacerlo.

Dios quiere que lo hagamos desde ahora y para siempre, desde la salida del sol hasta su ocaso. Así que todo lo que hagamos, hagámoslo en adoración y alabanza a nuestro Padre celestial.

Padre, gracias porque sabemos que tu amor, misericordia, gracia, provisión y todo cuanto Tú tienes para nosotros son motivos para alabarte y adorarte. Te agradecemos porque tu misericordia y tu gracia se renuevan cada día. Gracias por tu infinito amor y paciencia. Ayúdanos a ser siempre conscientes de que debemos darte gracias y alabarte, porque no hay nadie como Tú que tenga tan grande amor por nosotros.

God’s direction is to love everyone, following the example of Jesus. This is an obligation that makes no distinction between people: friends or enemies, those we know or those we don’t. So, let’s get to work and show love to everyone around us and to ourselves.

Remember that love is what distinguishes us as children of God.
