In the area of architectural and interior design, the studio has carried out ambitious projects, such as the interior design of the Torre Mayor corporate penthouse, Latin America’s highest building. Other representative projects include the design of the Antara Joy City complex, one of the most luxurious malls in Mexico City, comprised of seven entertainment venues: Erawan, 50 Friends, Splendido G
ourmet Joy Room, Fat Crow, Voila and Ragga Discoteque. The most representative examples of restaurants designed by Adán Cárabes Studio includes Casa Lamm and South 777. During its trajectory, the studio has specialized on residential projects, and has been a finalist in three occasions of the “Design Icons Contest” organized by “Architectural Digest Mexico” magazine. The studio’s work has been featured in the digest several times, and in November 2011 a residential project of the Studio was presented in the cover of this prestigious magazine. Along with architectural and interior design, Studio Adán Cárabes also designs and produces special and unique pieces of furniture, artwork, rugs and temporary installations for almost each one of its projects. The studio designs every piece of furniture for its projects, including: sofas, chairs, tables, beds, desks, etc. One of the most relevant pieces of industrial design of the Studio is the collection of rugs "Bicentennial." For this collection, Adán Cárabes collaborated with “The Rug Company” and became the first Latin American that designed for “The Rug Company”. This collection was exhibited at "The Mexican Factory Design" at the Mexico City Contemporary Art Museum. Nowadays, Adán Cárabes rugs are available for purchase at the Museum of Modern Art store in New York City. Adán Cárabes was recognized as one of the most promising young designer in the Interiors scene in Mexico by the "Architectural Digest Mexico" magazine. For Adán Cárabes, designing is a real pleasure and that passion and commitment is reflected in the studio’s work. The studio strives to "design the designable," from the foundation of building to a salt shaker on the table.
