Masa, vacío y una geometría que se libera.
El proyecto se implanta en el predio a partir de una operación de contraste. Un volumen superior, continuo y de fuerte presencia material, concentra la masa del edificio mientras la planta baja se desmaterializa a través del cristal.
La transparencia libera el plano del suelo y diluye el límite entre interior y exterior. La masa deja de percibirse apoyada para aparecer suspendida: un cuerpo que flota sobre el vacío y establece una relación más ligera con el sitio.
Sobre esta composición, la cubierta introduce un gesto distinto. Su trazo continuo abandona deliberadamente la geometría ortogonal del volumen y se transforma en una línea libre que recorre y corona el edificio. Más que rematarlo, la cubierta altera su lectura: rompe sutilmente el orden, introduce movimiento y contrapone una geometría fluida a la condición tectónica de la masa.
El proyecto surge así de una tensión entre opuestos: peso y ligereza, materia y transparencia, geometría y movimiento, masa y vacío.

Mass, void, and a geometry set free.
The project settles onto the site through an operation of contrast. A continuous upper volume with a strong material presence concentrates the building’s mass, while the ground floor dematerializes through glass.
Transparency releases the ground plane and dissolves the boundary between interior and exterior. The mass is no longer perceived as resting on the ground, but as suspended—a body floating above the void and establishing a lighter relationship with the site.
Above this composition, the roof introduces a different gesture. Its continuous line deliberately departs from the orthogonal geometry of the volume, becoming a free form that moves across and crowns the building. Rather than simply completing it, the roof shifts its perception: subtly disrupting the order, introducing movement, and setting a fluid geometry against the tectonic presence of the mass.
The project emerges from this tension between opposites: weight and lightness, matter and transparency, geometry and movement, mass and void.
