What a beautiful afternoon it was gathering with so many friends, students, and members of our community to celebrate Misty before her move back to the United States. 💛

Seeing everyone come together, sharing stories, laughter, hugs, and memories from the years at Mad Catter Art Studio meant so much. The studio has always been about more than art — it’s been about the people who filled it with creativity, friendship, and heart.

A special thank you to Eddie's Tequila Tacos Beer for hosting us at his amazing restaurant and helping make the afternoon so welcoming for everyone.

Thank you to everyone who came out to say “hasta luego” to Misty. Your love and support truly means the world. While this chapter in Baja is coming to a close, the friendships and memories made here will always remain.

Wishing Misty continued healing and a smooth transition as she returns to be closer to family and medical care.

It’s not goodbye… just hasta luego. 💛

For days, you hauled furniture down three stories, priced and organized items from her entire home/ Mad Catter Art Studio, and created such a smooth, welcoming experience for everyone who came through. It was real work — and it did not go unnoticed.

What could have been overwhelming was made manageable because of your generosity, strength, and dedication.

Your support meant more than words can say. Thank you for showing what true community looks like. ❤️

We have been working hard to get ready for the big moving sale this weekend! Beyond grateful for all the volunteers helping Misty with this big transition. 15 years of art supplies, Sporting goods, tools, and furniture will be going fast so make sure you come by!

🎉 Amazing News! Imotep & Cinnamon Are Officially Adopted! 🐾✈️

We are over the moon to share that Imotep and Cinnamon have been adopted together and have safely made their flight from SJD to Seattle!
These two sweet souls — a gentle three-legged lovebug and a warm, biscuit-making cuddle cat — are now on their way to the next chapter of their lives with a loving family. 💛

Rescue truly is the best — it’s teamwork, compassion, and community coming together to change lives, one kitty at a time. Every share, every Flight Angel, every bit of support helped make this possible.
