When a Furniture Store Becomes a Place to Connect, Learn & Grow.

Over the past few days, we were truly honoured to welcome a group of entrepreneurs from Singapore, Johor, Kuala Lumpur and Penang to Regent Furnishing Sdn Bhd

Around 40 business owners from different industries came together — not simply to visit a furniture store, but to exchange ideas, experiences and lessons from the journey of building a business.

Every business has a different story.

Different industries. Different challenges. Different ways of thinking.

But behind every entrepreneur, there is something we all share — the courage to start, the strength to keep going, and the willingness to continue learning.

For our Regent team, this visit was a meaningful learning experience.

We had the opportunity to share our own journey as a second-generation family furniture business, while also learning from the experiences and perspectives of entrepreneurs from different industries.

It reminded us that growth does not always come from looking within our own industry.

Sometimes, it comes from stepping outside, listening to others, and seeing the world from a different perspective.

For our team, it was a chance to open our minds, broaden our vision and discover new possibilities.

For our founder and the previous generation, it was also a special and meaningful moment — to see the business they built becoming a place where people can come together, share and learn.

We are deeply grateful to the teachers for their guidance, to the organisers for bringing everyone together, and to every entrepreneur who took the time to visit Regent and share part of their journey with us.

This was more than a business visit.
