🥮 Luumi’s First Mooncake Candle | Lotus Paste Filling

Yesterday was just the start of the Hungry Ghost Festival, and today we’re already cutting mooncakes 😂

A little behind-the-scenes of our first time cutting mooncake candles

This time, we went with the classic lotus paste filling 🥮

It was our first attempt at this design, and cutting it open really felt like cutting into an actual mooncake 😙

The “mooncake skin” and “lotus paste” turned out surprisingly convincing!

Of course, this one is for looking, not eating 😂

Still lots of little details to improve, but we’re pretty happy with how our first attempt turned out 🥹
