Zine Playground at Pesta Kopi Ipoh!

Zine Playground is an interactive activation by Kinta Zine Club that brings the DIY spirit of zine-making into festivals and community events. It is a hands-on space where visitors can create their own zines, browse a curated zine library, and exchange works with others. Designed to be accessible for all ages, Zine Playground turns self-publishing into play, sparking creativity, dialogue, and connection while leaving behind meaningful collective memories.

Sulaman Palestin, Tatreez, lebih dari sekadar kraf tradisional. Tatreez merupakan simbol kepada identiti, ingatan, dan tentangan; benang halus yang menghubungkan generasi, sejarah, serta kisah yang tidak terungkap.

Sesi dibahagikan kepada dua bahagian.
- Sesi pengenalan kepada Palestin: Sejarah, Identiti & Konteks (1 jam 30 minit)

Palestinian embroidery, Tatreez, is more than a traditional craft. It is a powerful expression of identity, memory, and resistance, a thread that connects generations, histories, and stories of the untold.

Here in Malaysia, where so many different communities live side by side, including refugees who face all kinds of challenges, Jood believes that cultural storytelling can help us connect on a deeper level. This is a meaningful chance to show an honest and direct representation of what it means to be Palestinian. It invites us to reflect on survival, solidarity, and even the idea of decolonization.
