Hello Ipoh! Summit Event Hall was the venue for our next collaboration with Mortlach Malaysia, celebrating their best-selling 16 Years Wh**ky Series.

This time, our collaboration came with a twist — new colours and finishes. We crafted a bespoke leather keychain inspired by Mortlach’s signature bottle, finished with elegant V-shaped embossing.

The night was paired with Velvet, a specialty coffee curated with Mortlach 12 Year wh**ky — Irish cream foam over notes of caramel, macadamia and fruit.

Congratulations to LUMBERmart on winning the Best Curated Booth Award 2026 at ARCHIDEX Exhibition !

Lumbermart created a groundbreaking booth that brought material, texture, and thoughtful design together in an inspiring space. We are truly proud and honoured to have contributed to this award-winning concept.

For this project, Kelang Leather crafted a bespoke leather grip for the oar handle using Italian vegetable-tanned cow leather. Selected for its pliable yet firm and sturdy character, the leather offers both comfort and lasting durability. Every hole was individually punched before the handle was carefully hand-stitched by our leather artisan over several days.

We were honoured to be commissioned by the renowned Poltrona Frau to provide bespoke monogramming services for their uniquely designed red leather bag charm, crafted from fine Italian vegetable-tanned leather. The piece is inspired by Poltrona Frau’s iconic Vanity Fair Armchair, designed by Renzo Frau in the 1930s (Model 904), a timeless benchmark of Italian luxury seating and a reference in high-end leather craftsmanship.

The experience at Poltrona Frau Kuala Lumpur was truly immersive for our craftsmen. Being in the presence of a house widely regarded as one of the most important names in upholstered seating and leather artistry allowed us to reflect deeply on shared values of precision, heritage, and material excellence.

This collaboration represents a meaningful exchange between craftsmanship traditions, where detail, patience, and respect for materials define every outcome. We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute our monogramming expertise to such an enduring design legacy.
