Congratulations to all the finalists who were shortlisted for the REKA Awards 2026.

This recognition holds a very special meaning for us..

Can a design concept survive for almost a decade?
I believe this project gives us the answer.

The concept for KKH Pavilion Suites and Hotel Bukit Bintang was first developed around 2017. Since then, the project has travelled through many challenging periods, including the uncertainties brought by COVID-19 and other difficult circumstances.

Deeply honoured and privileged to share that the KKH Pavilion Suites and Hotel Bukit Bintang Concept Design has received: 🎖️Honourable Mention in Conceptual Design at the REKA Awards 2026, by Malaysian Institute of Interior Designers (MIID).

The Honourable Mention was the highest recognition presented in the Hospitality Conceptual category this year, and represents the third-highest award level overall.

Project : Soka International School Malaysia Location : Sendayan, Seremban Award : MALAYSIA INSTITTUTE OF INTERIOR DESIGNER MIID REKA AWARD 2025 - BRONZE PUBLIC I& NSTITUTION CATEGORY Soka International School Malaysia (SISM) is a groundbreaking educational institution that is setting new standards in sustainable design, education, and community development. Located in Malaysia, SISM is Soka Education first global international school to adopt a value-creating education system and is centered on a belief in every child’s unlimited potential, The client’s vision was to create an educational environment that is unconventional and timeless, resisting temporary design trends while inspiring a deeper sense of purpose. Rooted in the Soka philosophy of “Value-Creating Education”, the school embodies the ideals of global citizenship, sustainability, and holistic learning — a true home away from home for students. Every space is designed to tell its own story, reinforcing the school’s humanistic values while nurturing a sense of belonging and identity. Sustainability stands at the core of the brief, with the project aspiring to GBI Platinum certification. Building design prioritizes natural light, cross ventilation, and energy efficiency, incorporating strategies such as lux-level compliance to reduce energy usage without compromising comfort. Beyond environmental responsibility, the spaces are envisioned to be practical, adaptable, and future-proof. The brief calls for environments that not only support teaching but also empower and stimulate critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration. In essence, the client sought a campus that is eco-friendly yet human-centered, functional yet inspirational — a school that reflects its mission to educate global citizens with wisdom, courage, and compassion, while standing as a benchmark for sustainable design and value creation. https://sism.edu.my school

Envision and Embrace the Future

The new Hillcrest Garden office embodies a forward-looking vision while staying true to the company’s roots as a developer. Inspired by industrial design, the space celebrates the beauty of basic building materials such as exposed concrete, steel, timber, and recycled elements, reflecting authenticity and craftsmanship. Sustainability is a key driver, with repurposed materials incorporated to reinforce the company’s commitment to responsible development and environmental stewardship. Open, collaborative workspaces encourage innovation and growth, creating a dynamic workplace that honours the past, embraces the present, and confidently shapes the future through thoughtful and sustainable design.

A Celebration of Stillness

Designed as a retreat from the pace of modern life, this residence embraces the beauty of stillness. Natural light gently filters through textured glass walls, casting soft reflections that evolve throughout the day. Lush greenery becomes part of the interior experience, creating a constant dialogue between architecture and nature.

Every space is intentionally composed to evoke calmness and clarity. Clean lines, restrained materials, and a muted palette allow the mind to slow down, while double-volume spaces bring a sense of openness and freedom.

In the quiet moments of the day, the home reveals its true character—a sanctuary where light, nature, and architecture come together to create an atmosphere of serenity, comfort, and timeless elegance.
