We didn't feel the need to fill every corner of this home.

The living room was left for daylight.
The dining space, for meals that take a little longer.
Along the hallway, books, objects and the small things you pass by every day found their own place.

The colours, though, were allowed to speak a little louder.

A touch of red.
A generous amount of clay orange.
Then pale timber, soft neutrals and black details to settle everything back down.

Moving from the living room into the hallway and eventually the quieter rooms, each space carries a slightly different mood.

Still, they all seem to belong to the same conversation.

We’ve always liked homes that don’t have to stay completely quiet.

A little colour is fine.
A little personality too.

And enough room left over for everyday life to slowly make itself at home.

Not showing you the whole house just yet.

What stayed with us first wasn't a particular piece of furniture.

It was the way soft cream sits beside clay orange, pale timber meets a little black, and daylight is allowed to quietly move through the rooms.

The red coffee table brings a bit of confidence.
The warmer tones soften it again.

Some corners make you want to stay a little longer.
Others only need a passing glance to be remembered.

COMMON GROUND

Some homes don't need to impress.
They simply make you want to stay a little longer.

This 1,300 sqft condominium in Pantai Hillpark is a home with more than twenty years of history. When we first met the homeowners, we didn't begin by discussing interior styles or finishes. Instead, we asked a different question:

"How do you want to live?"

They wanted a home where family and friends could gather comfortably.

A place to unwind after a long day.

A space that feels calm, organized and effortless.

Most importantly, they wanted a home that would still feel timeless years from now.

That became the starting point of COMMON GROUND.

We reconfigured the layout by reducing the balcony to create a larger dining area. Because we believe a long dining table, where conversations naturally happen, is far more valuable than a balcony that is rarely used. Rather than filling every wall with cabinetry, we designed storage to work quietly in the background. Natural timber, soft lighting, clean architectural lines and thoughtful proportions create a home that feels warm without trying too hard. Every detail wasn't designed for photographs. It was designed for everyday life.

At Boldndot, we believe the best interiors aren't the ones that demand attention. They're the ones that continue to feel right, year after year.

That's what COMMON GROUND is about. A shared place where everyday moments become lasting memories.
