“多年来，我和女儿总说，等中秋到了，一定要一起做点什么。

只是每一年，心意都在，却总被生活推着向前。于是一次次笑着说，明年吧。

直到今年，我们迎来了我的第一个孙女。

一个小小生命的到来，像是轻轻提醒我们有些心愿，其实不必再等。于是，这份念想终于被一点点做成了现实。

这是我们的第一个系列，也是送给她的第一份小小礼物。

月圆，人也团圆。
而今年的团圆，不只是相聚在一张桌前，更像是一种被重新唤起的延续, 从我，到女儿，再到她，一点一点，把爱接了下去。

月亮会一轮一轮地圆下去，而家的故事，也会在这样的夜晚里被慢慢传承。我们所做的，不只是留住这一刻的温柔，更是希望未来的每一个中秋，都有人记得, 爱曾这样被认真地传递过。

“For years, my daughter and I talked about making something together for Mid-Autumn. Every year, the season would come around and we’d find ourselves in the same place, full of intention, short on time, and we’d let it pass. Tell ourselves next year.

This year, we’re welcoming my first grandchild, and somehow this new life has a way of making you want to do the things you’ve been putting off. So we stopped waiting and we made it happen.

The moon will keep growing full, year after year. And during this festival, the story of a family gets passed on, and in the things we make. May every Mid Autumn be not just a moment of reunion, but the beginning of passing something precious on to the next.

For the next two weekends, we’ll be at You Ni Market with shelves full of pieces we’ve been making in the studio these past few months. There’ll be some familiar favourites, but we’re especially excited to finally share our new wood-fired collection.

Wood firing has a way of keeping us humble. We can shape the clay, prepare the glaze, and stack the kiln - once the fire takes over, nature becomes part of the maker. The flame, every bit of ash, and each hour in the kiln leaves behind something that can’t be repeated. Opening the kiln never gets old.

Introducing our Wood Fire Collection.

Each vessel carries the quiet imprint of the wood kiln—natural ash deposits, subtle flashing, and textures that can never be repeated. No two pieces are alike; each tells its own story of fire, clay, and time.

This first release includes tea bowls, katakuchi pouring vessels, and everyday forms designed to be held, used, and treasured.

A new batch has quietly come into being—each piece shaped by hand, carrying its own small warmth, its own rhythm of making.

For a brief moment, they’ll be resting at YouNi Market 25.0, Gamuda Garden, Rawang. Not in a rush, not asking for much—just to be held, noticed, maybe even taken home by someone they resonate with.

We’ve been living in our aprons lately. Hands permanently dry with clay splashes in places we didn’t know possible, but it feels good to be back in “making mode.”

We’ve been a bit quiet on here because we’ve just been focused on the work. There’s something about the repetition of throwing a new batch that clears the head. It’s messy and exhausting, but we’re finally starting to see the new shapes come together.

The studio is currently packed with rows of drying pieces, so we’re aiming to have this next batch ready in April.
