Mutelab: “Ideas don’t come out fully formed. They only become clear as you work on them.” by Mark Zuckerberg
Myce and Sook Yin is a team of two who works behind MUTELAB. Though both are from different backgrounds, they work in the same creative industry to give grounding in art and design. Both Myce and Sook Yin are like-minded which lead them to start a space called MUTELAB to express, create and experiment their ideas through art. Additionally, this space allows them to work hard into developing, defining, and re-design interior adornments.
They always believed that “Ideas don’t come out fully formed. They only become clear as you work on them”. Therefore, they started their first experiment with cement as their main material. Today, making art through cement becomes their existing passion.
In order to bring out the uniqueness of concrete, they started to experiment concrete with mix mediums adding graphic touches to it. MUTELAB is the first in Malaysia to experiment added graphic on concrete. By collaborating with different artists, each of the product is an unique art piece customised with different graphics, quote and art to uplift the spirit and character of the space.
