但由於紫砂屬於天然陶土燒製材質,因此在使用上,有一個非常重要的觀念:

「避免劇烈溫差。」

很多人第一次使用紫砂鍋時,最容易犯的錯誤,就是鍋子還很燙時直接沖冷水。
這樣的瞬間熱脹冷縮,容易造成:

• 鍋體龜裂
• 內部出現細微裂痕
• 鍋底爆裂
• 使用壽命縮短

尤其以下情況要特別注意:

However, because purple clay is made from natural earthenware, there is a very important concept to remember when using it:

"Avoid drastic temperature changes."

A common mistake many people make when using a purple clay pot for the first time is to pour cold water directly onto it while it's still very hot.

This sudden temperature change can easily cause:

• Cracks in the pot body

• Tiny cracks inside

• Cracking of the bottom

• Shortened lifespan

Special attention should be paid to the following situations:

• Immediately after cooking boiling hot soup

The pot is extremely hot at this time, and direct contact with cold water is most likely to cause damage.

【Correct Usage】

1|Let it cool naturally first
After cooking, it is recommended to let the pot cool down slowly for about 15-30 minutes.

2 | Use warm water to clean.

台灣臨床與流行病學研究指出,血中全氟烷化物(PFCs)濃度,與50歲以下女性罹患雌激素受體(ER)陽性乳癌呈現顯著正相關。PFCs 屬於持久性有機污染物,廣泛應用於防水、防油塗層,如紡織品、食品包裝材料,以及部分不沾鍋塗層中。此類物質具有高度環境穩定性與長半衰期,進入人體後不易代謝,可能經由飲食、空氣或日常接觸逐漸累積。
進一步研究亦指出,東亞女性乳癌的發生年齡較西方提早約10年,且近40年來發生率顯著上升。其成因除遺傳與生活型態外,外源性環境荷爾蒙(如PFCs)所造成的雌激素暴露,被認為是重要的潛在影響因子之一。

在日常使用情境中,若不沾鍋塗層因刮傷、老化或高溫使用而結構受損,確實可能增加相關物質釋出的風險。因此,從風險管理的角度,建議採取以下原則:
• 避免使用塗層已明顯破損的不沾鍋具。
• 減少高溫空燒或過度加熱情境。
• 優先選擇材質穩定、無塗層或已標示無氟塗層之鍋具。

Taiwanese clinical and epidemiological studies have shown a significant positive correlation between blood perfluoroalkyl substances (PFCs) concentrations and the incidence of estrogen receptor (ER)-positive breast cancer in women under 50 years of age. PFCs are persistent organic pollutants widely used in waterproof and oil-resistant coatings, such as those on textiles, food packaging materials, and some non-stick cookware coatings. These substances exhibit high environmental stability and long half-lives, making them difficult to metabolize after entering the human body and potentially accumulating gradually through diet, air, or daily exposure.

Further research indicates that the age of onset of breast cancer in East Asian women is approximately 10 years earlier than in Western women, and the incidence has increased significantly over the past 40 years. Besides genetics and lifestyle, exposure to estrogen caused by exogenous environmental hormones (such as PFCs) is considered a significant potential contributing factor.

In everyday use, if the non-stick cookware coating is damaged due to scratches, aging, or high-temperature use, the risk of releasing these substances may indeed increase. Therefore, from a risk management perspective, the following principles are recommended:

• Avoid using non-stick cookware with visibly damaged coatings.

• Reduce situations involving high-temperature dry heating or overheating.

• Prioritize cookware made of stable materials, without coatings, or with a label indicating a fluorine-free coating.

• Reduce unnecessary sources of exposure to chemical coatings in daily life.

Furthermore, multiple studies have shown that regular exercise and a plant-based diet help reduce the risk of breast cancer; and screening measures such as mammography are currently the most empirically supported tools for early detection.

Overall, the formation of breast cancer risk is the result of multiple interacting factors. From environmental exposure and dietary patterns to lifestyle habits, each choice is an important part of long-term health management.
