Is your solar flood light blinking like a party strobe at night? ๐กโก Don't panicโitโs NOT broken!
This is one of the most common questions we get at PnC Solar LED Lighting!
When a solar flood light blinks, itโs usually caught in a feedback loop. Hereโs what happens:
1. The flood light turns on at night.
2. The light shines directly onto its own solar panel.
3. The photo sensor thinks the sun came up and turns the light OFF.
4. Darkness returns, so the light turns back ON... and the cycle repeats!
How to fix it in 2 minutes:
โ
Place your solar panel in a completely dark location at night.
โ
Point the flood light head DOWN or away from the panel.
โ
Need extra distance? Use an extension cable to move the panel to total darkness (like on top of your roof).
