The project involved a complex mix of imported wood finishes, used to create the signature AAPE wall panels and fixtures across the outlet.

Every detail was coordinated to meet both client and brand principal expectations — from space planning to finishing quality and final handover.

Not every site condition matches the drawing.

When we enter the site and discover something different from the approved layout or drawings, the work cannot simply continue as planned.

We need to quickly identify the issue, propose a solution, discuss with the designer and client, confirm the direction, and only then resume work properly.

If there is additional cost due to site changes, it has to be communicated clearly and honestly.

That’s why daily or weekly reports are important — to keep every party updated and aligned.

For Garrett Popcorn Shops® @ Mid Valley Megamall, Mei J delivered the construction of a 194 sq. ft. retail kiosk designed to support customer flow, product display, and brand identity within a busy mall environment.

The project was completed within a fast-track 3-week schedule, with coordination handled remotely via Zoom with the project manager based in Taiwan.

From kiosk fabrication to interior finishes and installation, every detail was executed to meet the client’s operational timeline.

Before site work can start, everything must be properly prepared and approved.

Insurance cover note.
Workers’ name list.
ID drawings.
M&E drawings.
Electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, and fire-fighting system.

All drawings and documents need to be submitted to the landlord for approval before the project can move into full ex*****on.

Without approved drawings, production and site work cannot proceed properly.

👉 A smooth fit-out starts before the first work begins on site.
