What if a flower became a sofa? 🌸

It started with a simple idea: to bring the organic form of a flower into a piece of furniture.

From the first sketch, we explored how its curves could translate into a sofa, refining the proportions, form and details until the idea became something you could actually live with.

This is what custom means to us.

We’re starting a new series where we’ll share the stories behind some of our custom sofa projects.

From the first sketch to the final piece, we’ll take you behind the process of designing a sofa around a specific space, lifestyle and idea.

And we’re starting with our first client: an architect.

For an architecture studio, ideas rarely begin perfectly.

They begin with lines 📏
Quick sketches ✏
Random thoughts 💭
A stroke here, a change there 🎨

So when the architect came to us with an idea for their office, they wanted the sofa to become part of that process.

Something that would sit quietly in the office, but also give them a surface to sketch, doodle and draw on whenever inspiration struck.

This is where their idea begins.

Next, we’ll show you how the sketches become a sofa, stay tuned for the actual sofa reveal.

We let people draw on our sofa.

Not on paper.
Not on a sample swatch.
On the actual sofa.

Because we wanted to see what happens when creativity gets a little messy.

Furniture is made to be lived with, played on, gathered around and, sometimes, accidentally abused a little.

Good design isn't just about how something looks in a showroom.
It's about how it holds up in real life.

And yes, we cleaned it up afterwards. 😉

For years, our showroom wasn’t just where we displayed furniture.

When we moved everything out, the marks left on the floor stayed behind.

Tiny reminders of every sofa that once stood there.
Every decision made.
Every chapter that began.

We didn’t tear it down because we had outgrown it.

We let it go because we wanted to build a space that serves people better.
