The way I feel when my little ones make a request of me gives me a tiny glimpse of how God must feel when I make a request of Him.
Even when I have clearly said "NO", the wheels in my head start turning and I can't seem to get it out of my mind until I find a way to give them what they have asked for, or at least an "acceptable alternative". (especially if they keep asking).
Getting them to accept the "acceptable alternative" may be tough but it is what I feel is best for them at that particular point in time. I may be wrong, I may be right but either way mom's in charge so they just have to "take it".
Sometimes God's "acceptable alternative" may be difficult to accept but fortunately for us, He is ALWAYS right!
This teddy bear was a special request from my little one for his birthday. Fortunately, I was able to give him exactly what he asked for. 😁💃🏾
