Things to Look Out for When Picking a Fascinator for an Outfit
A. Make sure the color blends well.
It doesn’t have to be the exact same color — it can match or just complement your dress nicely.

B. Is your outfit simple or already dramatic?

If your dress is loud, go soft on the fascinator.

If your dress is simple, you can go bold on the head.

C. Your face shape matters too:

Round face? Go for something tall or angled.

Long face? Go for something wide and soft.

D. How you pack your hair matters.
Fascinators sit better on a neat updo, ponytail, or low bun.

E. Dress for the occasion, inu ✍️

Church? Keep it simple and respectful.

This August, I made a personal decision, no requests, no complaints.
I just want to say Thank You Lord every single day.

This morning, I woke up with tears in my eyes…
Not from pain, but from a place of deep honest gratitude.

Because when I look at where I started and where I am now…

I can’t even explain it.
It’s been slow. It’s been quiet.
God has been faithful behind the scenes
even when I didn’t feel it.

I may not have it all yet, but I have more than enough reason to be thankful.

So I’ve made up my mind, I will never be ungrateful again.
Elohim… Adonai… Abba Father…

Dr. Adaobi slid into my DM recently and asked me this.
She reminded me of a post I made some time ago, where I said I’d start posting all those pictures I’ve been hoarding.
I couldn’t help but laugh and say, this consistency thing no be beans.
And truly, it isn’t.
sometimes life just happens.
Motivation fades, other responsibilities kick in, energy is low, and showing up feels harder than expected.

But that message made me reflect not just on my pause, but on my why.
Because the truth is, we all fail to show up at some point. We fall short.
And that’s okay…
What matters most is that we don’t stay down. We rise again. We reset. And we keep going.
Let this be your reminder too:
You may have paused, but you can still continue.
You don’t have to be perfect to be consistent.
