Sometimes people ask me how did you start with the idea to work with dried flowers? The fiirst reason is not so happy I just felt lost and wanted to so something completely different…The second reason is way more positive…I found out the magic of dried flowers is something which amazes me every single time! What do you get when you ask 60 people to bring 1 flower to your wedding? An abundance of so many different styles and colors. To make it 1 whole while using all flowers I created 1 big color chart. Not making these very often anymore but when requested I do! Dried flowers in pharmacy bottles varia from 1 up to 4 liters…topped with a handpoured lacquer with my signature stamp.

IM works require more time and at first i didnt accept funeral works…my reason was I didnt want to make money out of someones grief & pain until someone told me I could help them in their process. From that point on I turned it into a different approach and even though this project is very heavy I keep in mind that I am helping them. 3 from 5 for 1 family

With many arrangements I go with the flow, the flowers tell me their story. Ofcourse I listen to ‘your story’ as well. What kind of frame and background are typical things we discus before I start. Before finalizing the piece I send you a last draft and I am always open to changes but 9 out of 10 you fall in love with the work. I have 1 spot open for a larger project in September…this work is 60 cm x 80 cm and 2 out of 5 for 1 family

The outcome of a dried weddingbouquet framed. I never recreate the original bouquet, cause that has nothing to do with creativity in my opinion. Arrangements like these follow the outcome of the dried flowers, not static just playing with one another.

I have a ‘rule’ when working commissioned related to a iconic movie from the 90’s ‘Four weddings and a funeral’…for each ‘sad’ piece I need 4 weddings just to keep a good balance. Some works from this week and pieces coming up!
