Is a “pretty” rental enough to stand out in today’s market?

Welcome to YOSO. Today, we are finally walking you through the design decisions behind our latest project in beautiful Los Gigantes, Tenerife. 🌴

When designing this apartment, our goal wasn’t just to make it look good. We needed to turn a tiny space into something calm, highly durable, and completely rental-friendly.

Watch the video to see how we achieved this through intentional design choices:

Sensory Details: We used clay plaster to soften the space and naturally regulate humidity.

Maximizing Space: We blended the inside with the outside using continuous Marazzi tiles and game-changing frameless folding windows.

The Experience: We created a consistent story, from the branding right down to the layered lighting.

Ultimately, an EnsoStudio design is an investment. It’s about creating a space that makes guests want to come back, keeps reviews strong, and brings in better returns.

Designing the Mood: A closer look at the materials & inspirations selection for the YOSO project 🌿

Our goal was to create a sanctuary that feels timeless yet distinctly modern.

1. Tactile Walls: We ditched flat paint for textured renders and micro-cement. Imperfection is the new luxury.

2. Seamless Flow: To maximize the sense of space, we selected durable ceramic tiles that extend from the interior right out to the balcony. This blurs the boundary between inside and out, visually pulling the terrace view into the living room.

3. Organic Elements & Materials for the Mind: A holiday rental should be a place to reset. Surrounding yourself with natural materials - like the raw stone washbasins and warm walnut joinery - is proven to lower cortisol levels and calm the nervous system. We chose these organic textures specifically to encourage deep relaxation.
