The Workspace design show was indeed a great experience!
Awesome quality and vide geography of brands, awesome speakers and awesome topics were raised at the lectures!
Life is definitely divided into before and after Corona.
I would never imagine such a huge impact on live/working/social processes had that almost 2 years of isolation and sometimes even deprivation.
And how much effort it costs to return humanity to aim to spend time together in common spaces, with common goals to achieve, with the common wish of being united instead of divided...
Amazing to observe how incredibly evolved design & architecture trends in order to unite humanity with each other, with themselves and even more important with nature.
New words I have learnt in the current fair "Biophilic Design" & "Circularity".
From which first one "Biophilic Design" refers to being gently careful with human sensors to activate creativity/productivity and reduce overstimulation, we are experiencing more and more in the modern world.
Second word "Circularity" is not what pops up first in the mind - but replacement of overused "sustainability" and means that certain products/process are reused/recycled/reprocessed. The way how much it is in-built in the culture of the modern design & architecture gives absolute inspiration.
Talking about Circularity, a lot of attention is focused on creating flexible commercial spaces to combine different activities in the same spaces in different days/time when the space is not used in it primary purpose. For me, as a designer it's opening infinite opportunities for creativity. I was already using it a lot in designing private objects in a way to "multiply" square meters with design solutions, giving more opportunities to use the same space. It's amazing to see that trend spreading globally.
So, yeah... A lot of info to process.
Huge amount of inspiration and practicalities.
Are you about to renovate/add fresh touch to your workspace?
