Sometimes the most memorable stem in an arrangement isn’t a flower at all.

While peonies may be the stars of the current season, we’re often just as excited by the supporting cast.

This blush-pink caladium caught our eye for its incredible translucent quality. Held against the light, every vein becomes visible, creating a delicate stained-glass effect amongst the rich layers of peonies, orchids and flowering stems.

It’s details like these that we love to weave into our designs. Not to compete with the flowers, but to create contrast, depth and a sense of discovery. And we don’t buy them from cut flower growers, we find them in potted plants.

The more you take the time to look, the more you see. And that’s often where we feel like the magic really lives ✨

Peony season is one of our favourite times of year.

While peonies often steal the show, we rarely think about flowers in isolation, even if they’re as gorgeous as this Peony Command Performance variety. The magic usually happens in the layers.

We love combining flowers with unexpected foliage, flowering branches and often cut from plants to create depth, movement and little details that reveal themselves over time. It’s what keeps an arrangement feeling unique rather than predictable.

Much like in photography, your eye needs somewhere to land before it can travel. The peonies capture your attention first, but the most rewarding arrangements are the ones that reveal something new each time you look.

Hellebores. One of the quiet flowers still lingering at this time of year.

Sometimes called the winter rose, they appear just as everything else in the world still feels half asleep.

We love them for their softness, muted tones and dainty heads, almost as if they’re also still waking up.

Pom Pom - Play the Cheerleader, is back for the season 💜💜💜

Aptly named after the beautifully big and puffy hydrangea heads that resemble oversized cheerleader pom poms. We find this bouquet playful, joyful and impossible to ignore.

A cure for the Monday Blues 💙💜

Featuring star blooms of Hyacinth, Sweet pea, Forget-me-nots, Clematis and Agrostemma ‘White Queen’.

Just a few loose spring flowers we arranged together in our favourite blue vessel from the shop.

Soft, fleeting and slightly wild… and boy, does it smell amazing!
