The traditional stained-glass windows and monumental tile tableaus of Café de Parel, combined with smoked massive oak, brass details, unfinished concrete and strips of purple/grey mdf, created a style that unites tradition, homeliness and authenticity.

The café was only 44m2 and everything was being prepared in sight. This starting point was translated into a long, central bar that accommodates the food preparations and the substantial wine selection. There is no hard line between the two functions.

The interior of is divided into two sections. The first, with its high ceiling, large windows and classic inner facade with cast-iron columns supporting the mezzanine, is impressive and filled with natural light.

Below the mezzanine’s original wooden beam ceiling, the second section feels cosier, with a more intimate lighting scheme.

While the rooms of .co in Guatemala City are meant to be a private oasis and introspective, the purpose of the Good Hotel living room is the complete opposite. It is the social hub for everybody, a welcoming and warm meeting space that accommodates a multitude of different functions throughout the day. It is located on the 7th floor, on the north-east corner of the building, with indoor and
outdoor spaces, and a direct connection to the roof garden.

A few shots of on Elandsgracht, Amsterdam.

A moody, atmospheric interior shaped by a dark ceiling and oak paneling, balanced by the warm glow of oversized vintage pendants and minimal wall lamps. A cobblestone floor brings an unexpected outdoor quality to the space, blurring the line between inside and out.

The interior of is a study in texture, material and simplicity.
The front counter design brings together tiles in two contrasting finishes, creating a subtle play of texture and tone. An elegant, minimal stainless steel countertop completes the look.

Behind the counter, a built-in display shelf presents the bread alongside the full stock — keeping everything within reach while adding warmth and character to the space.

The strategic placement of the furniture and benches enhance the flow and circulation of the customers throughout the space.

At the end of July, we had a photography session at the location in Amsterdam's Plantagebuurt, the first location where our new design for the franchise has been implemented.

Petit by Sam's main aim for the DenHaag location (in addition to the classic patisserie function) was to have more space for comfortable cozy seats and also some space for retail and workshops in an overlooking kitchen area. We translated these ambitions into two distinct moods, each dictating the atmosphere and materials of their designated zones.

The location itself became a source of inspiration, offering decoration motifs with rounded and art deco shapes.

Cozy vibes inside the new Snooze rooms at Good Hotel London, located in the Royal Docklands.

With no access to natural light, the design challenge was all about creating a space that still feels warm, calm, and inviting. The solution came in the form of a large wooden cocoon wrapping the bed, a feature that brings comfort and a sense of retreat from the entrance.
