Yesterday we stopped by the most recent coffeecompany we've been working on.

It features the new design update which coincides with the 30th year of existence of the brand. The main vibe is still true to the existing locations and keeps some true and tested existing materials and elements form the brand toolbox, but enhances the coziness and vibes with additional colour pops and new interior elements.

Our design for JanPieter Heijestraat in Amsterdam features the signature bright colour palette with tones of white and light wooden elements, green accents, creating a fresh base for Juice Brothers's healthy juices.⁠

The rotated order block is an adjustment based on the corner-location's entrance situation, emphasizing the first point of service and creating a playful contrast to the straight forward layout of this long space.

Work in progress pics from Potaé in the

The design is starting to take shape and it's always rewarding to see ideas move from paper into a real space. Still a few steps to go, but it's getting there.

The color and material palette for Potaé consists mostly of neutral and warm materials, such as wood and tiles. A combination of soft hues and accent colours complements the existing colours of the brand identity of ⁠

Vlaamsch Broodhuys at Frederik Hendriklaan in Den Haag features dark walls and a black slatted counter. In combination with natural oak wall cladding and white marble tables we created a harmonious backdrop to enjoy the bakery’s delicious products.

The iconic round pendant lamps above the counter emphasize the work area and add some playful highlights to the interior.

We’ve been busy working on a fresh concept for Pizzabakkers over the past couple of months. The first location where the design will be implemented is on the Plantagebuurt in Amsterdam.

We recently visited the construction site and things are taking shape quickly. There are still things that need to be wrapped up, but here are some shots we snapped that give a small preview of the look and feel.

30 years ago, in 1996, the very first Coffeecompany opened it’s doors on Leidsestraat 60. Since then, the brand has grown into a staple for coffee lovers, with locations across the Netherlands.

We’ve had the pleasure of being involved in the design of for many years, contributing to more than 20 completed locations along the way.

Bold red food illustrations and striking lettering attract attention to , which aims to familiarise Dutch and European customers with Mexican cuisine. The new era of Salsa Shop also marks the seamless integration of self-order kiosks. User-friendly and strategically placed near the entrance, a mix of wall-mounted and counter-mounted kiosks effectively addresses all guests. A bespoke furniture piece now seamlessly integrates the countermounted kiosks, a service station, and high seating, serving as a spatial element that directs and zones the area effectively.

The counter and kitchen block—heart of the Salsa Shop concept—gets a fresh spotlight with an updated look and feel. The wooden slats of the backbar block now contrast the signature white tiling of the niches in a deep oxide red colour, while easy-to-read digital menu screens display the culinary options with clarity and a strong visual presence.

A diverse range of seating areas, warm natural materials, and the playful styling are all important components in bringing D.E Café Zandkasteel to life and in creating a real living room feel. The dark oak herringbone floor and the generous presence of plants combined with the everyday styling elements contribute to a homely and warm feeling. Bespoke furniture pieces designed by Ninetynine are mixed with modern furniture pieces to create an eclectic but harmonious atmosphere.
