Fantastic news H&M is focussing on more sustainable fashion

has focused quite some time on sustainable development. However this year the route is their new visit itinerary. To become part of the route the jury focused on 3 major aspects: *sustainable procurement *less-is-more ethos *show respect to human beings and environment. Chapeau! I truly hope next year the list will have doubled from 114 out of 700 exhibitors to 228!! Wouldn’t that be a perfect ambition for ? @ Paris, France

My passion for beautiful and sustainable living and circular interiors can be traced back to my grandfather who used to be a steel collector in the streets of Rotterdam. My dad took over his waste and recycle company and later on applied for tech edu. He inspired me to actually take on a profession and - since I've been moving furniture around since I started to walk - I studied Architecture at TU Delft to become an architect. I found that signature architecture is not my thing but creating a positive living environment with and for my clients is. The reason? I think beautiful living is inspiring, and I like to inspire and help people to create a sustainable environment for themselves and others.

Outside of the residential building projects I manage, I'm committed to educate myself to add to a more sustainable world. I go to lectures and movies about the reuse of waste, creating a better world and sustainable transition in the built-environment and interiors. Also, I am a WHOLE-30 fan/cook. I influence people around me to change their hidden impact...
