Our team of talented woodworkers have just started on a very special new project! A dear customer has imported an incomplete antique wooden gate from Japan, and it is now our job to restore the piece of traditional architecture to its former glory and add a full-fledged roof construction with authentic Kawara roof tiles.

We are very excited for this project and hope to share more updates soon!

We would hereby like to present one of our newest Japanese garden designs. This garden was conceived as an authentic journey through the landscape. The experience begins in a lush, wooded setting where vibrant trees, subtle lighting, and a sense of habitation create a welcoming atmosphere of comfort and tranquility.

As the path unfolds, the garden gradually opens up, revealing broader views and inviting visitors to pause and appreciate the distant mountains. A solitary tree, encircled by gentle rings, marks a subtle transition toward a more open and serene landscape, where a growing sense of calm accompanies each step.

At the end of the journey, a final resting spot awaits, illuminated by a small lantern and enriched by the soothing sound of flowing water. Looking back along the path travelled, this space becomes a moment of reflection, offering an opportunity to embrace continuity, renewal, and new possibilities. A journey that can be experienced anew with every visit.

We're pleased to introduce our new Japanese Ofuro Wooden Soaking Bath Configurator, launched alongside our recently updated Shoji Door Configurator.

Inspired by centuries of Japanese bathing culture, the Ofuro is designed for deep immersion, relaxation, and daily wellbeing, offering a unique bathing experience focused on comfort and mindfulness.

Users can customise dimensions, materials, and a variety of traditional features, creating an Ofuro tailored to their space and preferences. Each bath is handcrafted using traditional Japanese joinery techniques and designed to bring a sense of warmth, simplicity, and tranquillity to both traditional Japanese and modern Japandi interiors.

The configurator provides an accessible way to explore the possibilities of a truly custom-made Japanese soaking bath before moving forward with a bespoke design consultation.
