Freedom in Balance

A calm foundation that allows the interior to speak for itself.

For the Apeldoorn office of Processionals, we realised a greige artificial resin floor that seamlessly complements the open and informal workspace.

The strength of this environment lies in its balance. The seamless floor provides a neutral foundation, while abundant greenery, open sightlines and inviting meeting spaces create a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere.

In workplaces designed around collaboration and connection, a calm foundation brings cohesion and allows every design element to contribute to the overall experience.

We have had the pleasure of realising multiple locations for Processionals, each with its own character while maintaining a consistent identity.

Freedom in form. Defined by detail.

In this visual, we present our five bespoke finishing techniques within a single carpet design in a hospitality setting.

One space. One design. Five finishing techniques.

Although the carpet is identical in all images, each finish demonstrates how strongly detail influences the final appearance. From soft and voluminous to sleek and technically defined: the finishing determines how the design is experienced within the space.

The sequence of finishes shown is as follows:
▪️Voluminous carpet
▪️Overlock edging
▪️Blind binding
▪️Blind binding
▪️Leather-look piping

Through subtle differences in finishing, a different balance of softness, tension, and definition is created each time.

The final image brings all five finishes together, making the differences immediately clear.

An overview of how finishing is not just a technical detail, but an essential part of both the design and the spatial experience of a carpet.

For in Spijkenisse, we supplied this custom carpet solution within a complete hotel concept designed and realized by .s.t.i.d.a

In this reel, not only the carpet is showcased, but also the atmosphere throughout the hotel — from entrance to restaurant and corridor spaces. A strong example of how flooring contributes to the identity, warmth and experience of a hospitality environment.
