At our Roots location, we test new orchid varieties against the strict standards required for the Opti-flor assortment.

After a year of cultivation and once in bloom, we assess flower quality, plant height, and leaf development to ensure each plant has the right balance of strength, consistency, and natural beauty 🌿

Of the 1500 varieties we evaluate each year, only a select few meet all requirements and earn a place in the Opti-flor assortment.

Orchid care | Aquo, easy orchid watering 💦

• Fill the Aquo ceramic pot with a small layer of water
• Insert the wick into the bottom of the growing pot
• Place the growing pot in the ceramic pot and ensure the wick hangs in the water without the pot touching it
• The wick allows your orchid to take exactly what it needs
• Check once a week if there’s enough water in the pot and enjoy effortless care

In our greenhouses, tables are carefully flooded to give our orchids exactly the water they need. Instead of going to waste, the water is collected, filtered, and reused within our system.
