Refurbishment in action at Hogeschool Utrecht ♻️

By giving existing furniture a second life, we contribute to a more sustainable and circular interior without compromising quality or aesthetics. No material is wasted as we apply the new look over the existing material. This project exemplifies how refurbishment can combine functionality and design with environmental responsibility.

We thank Heileen Eilers and Burodesk interieurarchitectuur for this collaboration and perseverance to make it happen.

20 years ago, ING Nederland created these internet banking capsules. Today, they’ve been transformed by Cooloo and DsignMarking into cozy, low-stimulus seating pods ♻️

Perfect for focus, calm, and kids (they jump right in 🐣)

We’ve already placed 80 in collaboration with Stichting RVKO Rotterdam - but more are awaiting for a second life…

This year, we’re celebrating cork! 🍾

Cork everywhere: floors, walls, acoustic panels, reception desks, chairs, poufs and even shoes.

At MaterialDistrict, we’re launching a new addition to our cork range: spray cork for floors, walls and stairs. Made from recycled wine corks and processed with water-based adhesives.

Beyond cork, Ricco will be sharing our journey in the world of leather on Wednesday at 11:55 AM in Theater 1.

At 1:30 PM, we’ll join the TBI pitches, where Ricco will talk about how we’re increasingly applying our techniques and materials within the construction industry.

Cooloo was part of the Dutch Design Week Business Lounge! 💫

Daphna Laurens and Evelien Reich did an incredible job designing the DDW Business Lounge. As one of DDW’s partners, we were excited to contribute to this inspiring space.

Our Econcrete Terra was used on the pillars, giving them a distinctive color and texture that adds depth and enhances the dynamic character of the lounge. We believe it truly elevates the overall look and feel of this beautiful environment.

Some projects that highlight the versatility of our Endless Life® technology! ♻️

Our technology has a very wide range of applications. It not only allows us to use our materials on a lot of different surfaces, but also to use a lot of different waste streams as a basis. Concrete, leather, aluminum, cork, jeans, and the list goes on!

These examples include: walls, sinks, countertops, kitchen doors and drawers. Some of the examples demand high standards, Endless Life® technology delivers!

CoolCork takes the stage at CRCL PARK! 🌱

Cooloo provided the cork seating on stage, including our classic Ameba, at this event that brings together innovators shaping circular and regenerative cities.

Cork is an amazing natural material sourced from existing waste streams. Its unique texture, versatility, and acoustic benefits make it a perfect choice for sustainable design.
