From waste to a whole new interior. ♻️
Earlier this week, World Trade Center Amsterdam shared the story behind their renovated space. Now, we’re taking you a little closer.
For this project, we transformed waste streams into new surfaces using recycled leather and eConcrete, creating unique finishes for the bar, flooring and planters.
And it gets even more circular: stone from the demolished WTC floor was reused and incorporated into the new materials you see in the space today. What was once part of the old interior has now become part of the new one.
Instead of throwing materials away, we gave them a new purpose — turning waste into something valuable again.
This is what circular design can look like.
Waste isn’t the end of a material. It can be the beginning of something new. 🔄
