NADesign is een woonaccessoire merk met handgemaakte producten, die in korte tijd een mooie collectie heeft opgebouwd, met oa plaids, kussens, lampen, schalen en kandelaars. Je kunt ons misschien kennen van onze posters, gemaakt van olifantenpoep papier, inmiddels een echte klassieker in onze collectie. Daar houden we van bij NADesign, eerlijke materialen met een no-nonsense gevoel. Onze favoriete materialen om mee te werken zijn; wol, leer, keramiek, papier en beton. Wij bakken, breien, weven en ontwerpen alle producten zelf, niet in een ver land, maar gewoon in ons eigen atelier in Zutphen. Geen lopende band werk dus, maar aandacht voor detail...het kan om deze reden zijn dat u even moet wachten op uw bestelde artikelen. Daarentegen heeft u bij NADesign zelf uw eigen ontwerp voor een deel in de hand, kleuren en maten zijn ( bijna ) altijd aan te passen. U weet dus zeker dat u een uniek handgemaakt product heeft!!!

Sometimes it’s worth showing the shadow side of entrepreneurship: the failures, the disappointing sales, or having to hold down another job just to cover your expenses at the end of the month. Think of the time and effort poured into writing blogs, crafting newsletters, and creating content—only to see few visitors in your shop or online store. Then there’s the uncertainty: are my products actually good enough? The colors, the shapes, the pricing... I believe that’s where things go wrong. We’ve developed a desire for cheap goods from far-off places—items not built to last a lifetime, but designed to be quickly replaced whenever a new whim or trend comes along. I choose not to participate in that. I want to create timeless pieces—things you might tuck away in a cupboard for a while, only to feel a genuine sense of joy when you bring them out again. Pieces that clearly show they were handmade—right here in the Netherlands—with passion and care. I don’t mind having to work a second job to keep pursuing my passion, but I truly wish things could be different.

Yes! Starting tomorrow, you can find me at Zadelstraat 41 with my entire collection—including new bowls, wall blocks, and paintings that have never been shown before.

Today, I set up the shop together with Studio Eskes , and now I’m going to go all out for the next 5 days!

And for anyone who’d like to have a drink with me, that’s possible on Thursday evening from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
