Caramel is almost always a safe choice.
Which is exactly why it's easy to choose without thinking. On this hot summer day, though, it became a little too rich. I finished quickly, felt full and somehow even thirstier afterwards. ERP projects sometimes follow the same pattern.

Choosing the solution with the longest feature list isn't always choosing the right solution. A successful implementation starts with understanding your business needs, not selecting everything that's available. Sometimes waiting a few extra minutes leads to a much better decision.

Implementation Notes:
The first impression was excellent. Fresh, simple and exactly what I needed on a warm day. But once conditions changed, the solution couldn't keep up. It melted almost immediately.

ERP projects can be similar. A solution might solve today's challenge perfectly, but if it isn't designed to handle growth, changing processes or increasing complexity, you'll quickly find yourself looking for workarounds.

The best implementations aren't just quick, they're resilient.
