Består rosemaling fremdeles?

Dersom det er stor nok interesse tenker jeg å avholde et foredrag om Rosemaling en kveld i september 2026.
Skal det være håndmalt eller kan det være digitalt eller KI-generert. Antikke eller livlige farger. Er rosemaling en rødlistet kulturarv?
Foredraget planlegges avholdt på LKV4, Larkollveien 4, på Bredsand (gamle Polycoat).
• Eksakt dag er ikke fastsatt, åpent for innspill
• fra 18:00 – ca. 20:30 med pause(r)
Du får høre om historie, farger, typiske stiler og mønstre, vers og rim, gamle mestere, dagens kunstnere, pensler og andre/digitale verktøy.
Ingen forkunnskap er nødvendig.
Målet er å lage en interessant kveld, presentere kjent som ny innsikt, meningsutveksling og finne ut om det er interesse for rosemaling.

Progressing very slowly with my little wall cupboard.
Happy with the inside, light ultramarine with a touch of violet and edges in turquoise green with small white flowers.

Homemade paint with color pigments and linseed oil base.
In a thrift shop I found this little wooden cupboard. Ugly woodwork, crooked and chipped, but lovely rounded features. I couldn´t make the cupboard worse than it already was 😄.
To my astonishment the paint I mixed was fantastic to work with and the colors so balanced!
In my mind I am going to paint it inside and out and decorate it with rosemaling.
The cupboard is for wall hanging and could house a rock collection, jewels, make-up, miniature glasses and spoons, and a lot more 😄
