Henning Koppel (1918-1981), originally trained as a sculptor, but was arguably the most important and innovative silver designer of the 20th century, or this is at least our opinion.
His designs from his early days with Georg Jensen, starting off in 1946 were daring to say the least, and one has to credit Anders Hostrup-Pedersen, MD of Georg Jensen for hiring him and essentially giving Koppel a completely free rein.
