A Love Letter to Happy Bean Bags Nepal
Over a decade ago, while pursuing my studies in India, I stumbled upon something that would unknowingly change the course of my life.
In the room of a friend and fellow university classmate sat a peculiar piece of furniture unlike anything I had ever seen before. It wasn't a chair. It wasn't a sofa. It was a soft, cloud-like cushion that seemed to mould itself around you. Curious, I jumped on it, tossed it around, lounged on it, and eventually spent two nights sleeping on it.
The feeling was unforgettable.
It was comfortable, playful, relaxing, and strangely liberating. In that moment, I made a promise to myself: when I returned home to Kathmandu, I would introduce this feeling to Nepal.
That simple discovery became an idea. The idea became a vision. And the vision became Happy Bean Bags Nepal.
Back then, bean bags were a rarity in Nepal. The few available were imported, expensive, and considered a luxury item accessible only to a select few. We believed comfort should not be a luxury. We believed everyone deserved to experience the joy of sinking into their own little cloud.
And so, we started manufacturing bean bags right here in Nepal.
The rest, as they say, is history.
Over the last ten years, Happy Bean Bags Nepal has found its way into thousands of homes, offices, cafés, schools, hostels, resorts, and countless memories. What started as a personal fascination grew into Nepal's pioneering bean bag brand. More importantly, it became a source of comfort, relaxation, and happiness for so many people.
Looking back today, I can proudly say that we achieved what we set out to do. We shared that feeling—the feeling of floating on a cloud—with Nepal.
But every journey, no matter how beautiful, eventually reaches a turning point.
And so, with a heavy heart, but immense gratitude, we bid farewell to Happy Bean Bags Nepal in its current chapter.
To every customer who trusted us, every supporter who cheered us on, every well-wisher who believed in our vision, and every person who ever sat on one of our bean bags and smiled—thank you.
Your love, encouragement, and patronage made this journey possible. We cherish each and every one of you more than words can express.
However, this is not a goodbye forever.
Happy Bean Bags Nepal will be rebranded and will continue under new management, with renewed energy, fresh ideas, and exciting things on the horizon. All existing warranties and commitments remain fully valid, and the spirit of the brand lives on.
As for me, I leave this chapter with a full heart and endless gratitude. The lessons, friendships, experiences, and memories of the last decade will stay with me forever.
And while one chapter closes, another is about to begin.
We firmly believe that this is not the end—only the beginning of something new, something bigger, and perhaps, something even finer.
