काठमाडौँमा करोडौँ खर्च गरेर घर बनाउँदा पनि… किन अझै घर साँघुरो महसुस हुन्छ?

मार्बल प्रिमियम।
फिटिंग्स महँगो।
फर्निचर आकर्षक।

तर केही महिनामै—

भान्छा कोचाकोच देखिन थाल्छ।
सिँढीमुनि फोहोर थुप्रिन्छ।
भित्तामा ओस देखापर्छ।
घर ठूलो भएर पनि बस्न असहज लाग्छ।

समस्या घरको साइजमा होइन।
समस्या planning मा हो।

काठमाडौंका धेरै घरहरूमा architecture, interior र plumbing/electrical planning छुट्टाछुट्टै गरिन्छ।

त्यहीँबाट सुरु हुन्छ:

हामी बुझ्छौँ—घर सुन्दर मात्र भएर पुग्दैन, त्यो झन्झटमुक्त पनि हुनुपर्छ। भित्तामा नदेखिने तार र पानी नरसाउने बाथरुमहरूले नै तपाईंको घरको 'इज्जत' बढाउँछन्।

धेरैलाई लाग्छ नक्सा पास हुनु नै अन्तिम सुरक्षा हो, तर खोला किनारको मापदण्ड (River Setback) वा उचाइको नियम (Light Plane) मिचिएको छ भने कुनै पनि कागजले तपाईंको घर जोगाउन सक्दैन।
