That time of the year again and it's time to head down to The Great NZ Muster in Te Kuiti. It's a great day out for the whole whanau especially to see the sheep run down the mainstreet at 2pm. Just thought I'd share the processes I go through to create one of my sculptures using wood and resin. From the concept of the drawings of the piwakawaka to making the mould of the rough design and pouring the resin to finally shaping and mounting on some Westcoast driftwood.
