The name Windborne came from the idea of going where the wind takes me.
I wanted this design to have a little connection to my Celtic Ancestors, while still feeling like something I would reach for on an ordinary winter day here in New Zealand.
The result is Windborne Beanie — a textured, cabled knit that I’m really pleased to finally share.

I’m looking for test knitters for my new Kauri Loop Cowl knitting pattern.
This is a DK / 8ply cowl worked in the round, with ribbed edges and a textured ridged pattern. The pattern is one size.
