In the first article in this series, we looked at planning a kitchen around connected work zones rather than relying solely on the traditional work triangle.

Once the layout has been resolved, the next step is selecting the appliances and planning the services required to support them, such as:

- New Zealand Ventilation Requirements
- Cookware compatibility
- Electrical planning and requirements
- InSinkErator Food-Waste Disposals
- No-Zone and Full-Surface Induction
- Plumbing and Drainage, and more

A coordinated design provides the builder, joiner, electrician, plumber and appliance installer with clear information and reduces the risk of costly changes on site.
