The 'odd number rule' in floristry... does it work? 🌷 Yes, the idea is that odd numbers within your arrangement create a more natural look & movement. It's a common design principle in the industry. However, it's not a rule!

We don't have to use 3 flowers in the bouquet. If 4 looks better, we'll use 4! It all depends on the composition of the bouquet! 🤍

Some orchid tips and tricks:

✨ Watering: Water thoroughly, then let excess water drain completely. Water again when the potting mix is mostly dry
✨ Light: Give orchids bright, indirect light. Harsh sun can scorch the leaves
✨ Temperature: Keep them somewhere warm with good airflow
✨ Check the roots: Healthy Phalaenopsis roots are usually firm and green/silver. Mushy, brown, or black roots can indicate rot
✨ Avoid water sitting in the crown: If water collects where the leaves meet, gently dry it with a tissue to reduce the risk of crown rot
