🚆 𝗔 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗚𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗟𝘁𝗱 – 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗿𝘆 & 𝗣𝗮𝗲𝗿𝗮̄𝘁𝗮̄ 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

Yesterday marked the official opening of Auckland's new Drury and Paerātā Railway Stations, representing another significant investment in South Auckland's rapidly growing public transport network.

𝗚𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗟𝘁𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗻 𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗮𝗴𝗲 across both stations, supplying more than 145 lighting columns that now support the safe operation of these important transport hubs.

From design and engineering through to manufacturing and supply, our lighting columns now service:

✅ Station platforms
✅ Station entrances
✅ Park & Ride facilities
✅ Internal roads
✅ Pedestrian precincts

Beyond conventional lighting, the project included a number of specialist multi-function columns supporting CCTV, public address speakers, emergency equipment, signage and other station infrastructure.

To deliver the best outcome, the project combined New Zealand-manufactured lighting columns with specialist products supplied through our long-standing partnership with Valmont, ensuring the right solution for every application.

Seeing projects like these move from design drawings to fully operational public infrastructure is incredibly rewarding, and we're proud to have contributed to infrastructure that will serve Auckland communities for decades to come.

The energy in Christchurch has been incredible since the new stadium opened its doors, bringing massive events and packed crowds right back into the heart of the city. 🏉🎶

Projects of this scale take a massive team effort, and Gess Ltd is so proud to have played a part. We supplied the structural lighting poles surrounding the exterior of the stadium precinct—ensuring the walkways and surrounding areas stay bright, welcoming, and safe for the thousands of fans flooding through the gates.

We are absolutely thrilled that our products are supporting such an iconic piece of New Zealand’s sporting and cultural history! 🇳🇿🙌

Infrastructure is all about teamwork! 🤝✨
It is incredible watching the massive transformation happening over at Spedding Industrial. With civil works wrapping up and big buildings starting to pop up all over the site, this master-planned hub is officially coming to life!
We are so proud that Gess Ltd poles were chosen to provide the structural lighting foundation for this major development.💡

Very beautiful walkway!

We’re proud to have been part of the Te Kūkinga Wāka – Carrington Residential Development in Mt Albert.

GESS was invited to supply all streetlight poles for the development, including round tapered 6m and 8m poles, as well as pedestrian lighting poles.

In total, over 120 poles were supplied to support safe and accessible lighting across streets, walkways, and cycleways throughout the new community.

It’s a privilege to help deliver infrastructure that enhances both safety and quality of life for future residents.
