Same technique, different colours, and some wonderful results!

Here are a few photos from Friday night's Technique & Fun Fold Card Class, along with some more creations from Sunday afternoon.

We had fun trying the Retiform technique using the Notes of Collage stamp set, which is coming in the November Online Exclusives. I love seeing how everyone's cards turn out a little differently.

Some chose the warm, earthy colours of Peaceful Pine and Pecan Pie, while others went for the cooler tones of Misty Moonlight and Hydrangea Hue.

Which colour combination do you prefer – the greens and browns or the blues and purples?

Four cards from one piece of stamped cardstock!

Did you miss my Facebook Live this week?

I shared a simple One Sheet Wonder technique using the Opulent Oasis stamp set and three ink colours – Crisp Cantaloupe, Peaceful Pine, and Golden Glow.

The idea is to stamp your design onto one larger piece of cardstock, cut it into four, and turn each piece into a card.

It's a great way to make several cards at once, and you don't need lots of supplies. You can also change the orientation of each piece to create different-looking cards.

Can I join Stampin’ Up! just for the discount?

Yes, absolutely!

You don't need to teach classes or build a business to become a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator.

Many people join simply because they love crafting and want to save on their own supplies.

As a demonstrator, you can enjoy:

We had a lovely time at yesterday’s Technique & Fun Fold Card Class!

We made a fun fold Christmas card using the Welcome Noel Bundle, along with a technique card featuring a sneak peek of a new stamp set coming in November.

It was lovely to see everyone enjoying their crafting and sharing their creations!

I’m running the class again tonight (Friday) and Sunday afternoon, with a couple of spaces still available.

**ONE SHEET WONDER – FOUR EASY STAMPED CARDS**

Did you know you can create four handmade cards from just one sheet of stamped cardstock?

In this week's Live, I'm sharing a simple One Sheet Wonder technique using the Stampin' Up! Opulent Oasis stamp set and three of the 2025–2027 In Colors – Crisp Cantaloupe, Peaceful Pine, and Golden Glow.

I'll show you how to stamp your own floral background on one sheet of A4 cardstock, cut it into four pieces, and turn them into four lovely cards.

It's a great technique for beginners, but also a useful idea for experienced cardmakers who want to make several cards at once. You can use stamps and colours you already have, and each card will turn out a little differently.

**Measurements:**
- Stamped Basic White cardstock: 19 cm × 27.6 cm (before cutting)
- Cut into four pieces: 9.5 cm × 13.8 cm each
- Crisp Cantaloupe matting: 10 cm × 14.3 cm
- Peaceful Pine card bases: 14.8 cm x 21cm, scored at 10.5 cm

You can keep your cards simple with just stamping or add embellishments for a finishing touch.

Do you tend to reach for the same colours when you're crafting?

If you know me, you'll know I love blues, pinks and purples!

When I was creating these butterfly cards, I decided to challenge myself and try something different – oranges and yellows.

I used Timid Tiger, Daffodil Delight and Calypso Coral to colour the butterflies, and I was really pleased with how they turned out.

Sometimes it's good to step outside our usual colour choices!

I joined Stampin’ Up! for the discount. I had no idea where it would lead!

When I first joined Stampin’ Up! over 14 years ago, I was a stay-at-home mum with three young children.

I loved making cards and wanted to enjoy the discount so I could buy more of my own crafting supplies.

I certainly wasn't planning to build a crafting business!

Over the years, what started as a hobby has grown into so much more.

I've learnt new techniques, developed my skills, started teaching card-making classes and now share ideas through my weekly Facebook and YouTube Lives.

I've also had opportunities to attend crafting events, travel and meet wonderful people along the way.

But one of the things I value most is the friendships I've made, both with fellow demonstrators and with the lovely people who attend my classes and support my business.

And it all started because I wanted a discount on my crafting supplies!

You never know where a hobby might lead.

Of course, you don't need to do everything I've done. You can join simply for the discount and enjoy crafting at your own pace.
