The desk starts before you even build it.
When it arrives, it’s fairly unassuming. A neat, good-looking box, a nice logo, perfectly placed handles to make it easy to carry. But for the most part, it’s just a box.
Then you open it. And that’s where the design starts.
Every piece is placed and secured so nothing moves around in transit. We spent a lot of time designing the packaging and, to be perfectly honest, we love it almost as much as we love the desk.
Everything is recyclable. There’s no plastic and no unnecessary packaging. We thought about every bit of it.
As you reveal the desk, piece by piece and layer by layer, your brain starts putting together the desk puzzle. And, hopefully, the excitement builds a little too.
You’ll also notice the instructions are printed directly onto the box. No tiny booklet to lose. No wondering “where did the instructions go?”
The illustrations do the explaining, so you can see exactly how the pieces fit together, whatever language you speak.
And then there’s what’s inside the box.
Baltic Birch Plywood. Most people hear “plywood” and think of the cheap stuff. The kind that bends and breaks and ends up in landfill.
This isn’t that.
Cheap plywood wobbles. It warps. It’s never quite level. Then, in a few years, you’re buying another desk.
Our 3/4” Baltic Birch plywood doesn’t do any of that. It’s stable. It’s level. And it lasts for years.
That’s the difference between a desk you deal with and a desk that earns its place.
We chose it because we wanted something strong, stable and beautiful enough to live in our own homes.
And that’s why we spent hundreds of design hours creating a box and packaging system that makes it an epic unboxing experience.
Then comes the really satisfying bit… putting your forever workspace together, piece by piece.
