Getting back into making with this group of bats or maybe bunch of bats?
If it is a flying swarm it is a cauldron of bats which is cool, I don’t know if six bats counts as a cauldron but at least they are colourful 😊🦇

I have a confession. I was working on a website, which would be a brilliant thing.

However after my research and beginning to put one together, the cost is not simply the website service but several small extras from others hidden in there as well, making the required sales before any profit creep ever higher.

As stained glass is a nice to have and in these uncertain times, I felt the only sensible decision was to shelve the website idea for now.

I have a much better idea of how it all actually works, so I can get myself in a better position to comfortably fail for a while so the website will have a chance to be seen!

Now that that adventure has run its course for the time being I am back to making which is my favourite thing. Here are some piles of colour waiting for the pieces to emerge and the creatures coming out this afternoon.

Another load from the kiln. This time of year it is all about preparing and getting ahead in paint work is top of the list. Fish and bats and if you can figure out what the last pieces are for you get a gold star.

Not making any stained glass this week but making things about stained glass. Cryptic? Yes.
Comfort zone, long since gone!
