It’s been one heck of an effort and we’re not done yet but we are stoked to say the first few SLAB 2.0 products are on the site now - go have a gander!

— What is SLAB 2.0? —
SLAB 2.0 is a storage system that evolves with you and your gear. It provides a framework that allows countless combinations and variations with minimal new parts. The magic is in the common components that work with whatever prongs you choose: 1 brace + 2 floors + 3 walls + endless prongs = endless options!

We’ve only just got the site up and running so if you can’t find what you’re looking for or if you have any feedback/suggestions, please let us know!

- What does "all profits" actually mean? -
To us it means that after we sell enough tees to pay the manufacturing costs of the whole batch, all of the remaining sales will donated to the nominated charity. We aren’t paying ourselves for our time.

This is me. I believe we are all here to tell a story and the best stories in my life are set in the outdoors, so that’s where I plan to spend most of my life.

SLAB Racks was born out of the need for a better surfboard rack but it has been built around the idea that we can use thoughtful design and intelligent automation to be more productive, more flexible, and more sustainable in our work. The vision is to let the job take a back seat so that living becomes our occupation. The cool part is it’s a win-win: by doing this you are increasing internal efficiency which means the customer gets more for less!

My passion for design and automation led me to graduate UC with a BE(Hons) in Mechatronics. Those years of study combined with my experience in the industry has left me with an array of tools ready to take on this project that is SLAB Racks. It hasn’t been easy and it certainly doesn’t pay well but it’s fulfilling work and a challenge I’m willing to accept.
