Hi all,

Because of how difficult Facebook makes things for sharpeners due to their rules on knife photos and text, I spend very little time on Facebook beyond keeping my details up to date.

But I'm still open for business as usual! Tuesday to Sunday (open all weekend for those who work Monday to Friday), 10:00am to 5:00pm. See my website for prices and information:

Hi everybody! I've been really lazy about updating Facebook, and only just realized my hours weren't even correct! 🥲

I'm available Monday to Saturday every week, 10:00am to 5:30pm. Pickup and Delivery is still available ($5.00 per trip), prices may have changed a little if I haven't seen you for a while, see the website for pricelist:

I'm no longer making market appearances, they quickly became too much work on what was my only day off.

I've recently switched to a belt system which has added even more sharpness and longevity to my edges. The big news is that I'll begin advertising my upcoming mobile service starting in the next couple of months. That means when you call, I can come directly to your house and sharpen on the spot from the work vehicle, making the service even more convenient. ☺️

I'm sharpening at The Works Market - Christchurch today from 9am til 2pm, come on down if you need knives, scissors or garden tools professionally sharpened!

Food from Gula and Pandarosa, coffee by Bonjour, and a wide range or arts and crafts stalls. Bouncy castle for the kids, and dog friendly!

The weather is still holding up, we'll keep going until the wind gets too strong 🤞

Morning all! I'm at The Works Market today from 9am til 2pm - remember to bring your knives, scissors and tools down for a sharpen!

Put 'The Works Market' or '400 Waterloo Road' into Google maps, and look for the large A-frame sign on the eastern entrance to the area (see the second image in this post).

If you've ever been curious about how to use that honing steel in your drawer, come down and have a chat. Once properly sharpened, you can keep them that way for months with a steel, and I don't charge to show you how.

Bouncy castle for the kids, dog friendly, and the weather is getting better every weekend - see you there!

Morena! I'm at The Works Market in Islington today from 9am to 2pm. Bring your knives, scissors and garden tools down for some love!

I have a belt sander with me now to handle those odd shaped blades that the Tormek struggles with, and Scotchbrite belts for removing rust and gunk. If you have a tool in the shed that hasn't had attention in a while, you'll be quite surprised how far it can be restored.

I've been relatively quiet lately as I'm working on something awesome in the background for the business. Stay tuned, I'll be making a big announcement in the coming weeks!

Type 'The Works Market' into Google Maps and look for the large A-frame sign at the entrance. There's also a map on the flyer below.
